This unit is designed to allow students to co-operate as a team to create the Nathalia Secondary College Magazine for this year.
Students will learn how to work promotions for our school and community as a business.
Opportunities students may pursue include: websites, social media, publications, pod casts, film clips, creating copy, layout, drawing artwork, live speaking, photography, and many more.
This unit is designed to enable students creativity, to bring a new product or service into the market and potentially create a world changing idea!
Suited to students full of new ideas who are up for a challenge as an entrepreneur or social change maker who want to work on a project they are passionate about.
Students will develop and enhance their ideas through a creative design-thinking process. Once refined, they will have the opportunity to present to a panel of local experts.

This unit is designed to give students the opportunity to develop their skills in organising and running a junior sporting competition.
Students will complete a basic sports coaching course to develop their leadership skills on and off the sports arena. They will explore a variety of roles within the sporting structure including coach, manager, reporter, statistician, referee and sports trainer.
This will be a practical course with opportunities to apply new skills and work as part of a team during regular interaction days with the local primary schools.
This unit is designed to get students involved at the ground level of design and production of a Teardrop Caravan.
The team of students involved will drive every aspect of the build including:
• Planning and design
• Building – finishing interior and exterior, fine details
Students may also be part of the media coverage of this project; pulling together a range of products that reflect the process of the build and the advertising of the final product.
